Imaging USA

Over the weekend and the beginning of this week, I was in Atlanta with at least 10,000 other photographers who attended Imaging USA.  It's an annual photography conference and Expo that's held in a different US city.  I had not planned on attending, but members of my Black Female Photographers group were attending.  I thought that it would be great to meet them face-to-face.  To say that I had a good time would be such an understatement.  I met and took selfies with Peter Hurley and Lindsay Adler.  I also took a selfie with Bambi Cantrell who I met the first time that I attended Imaging in 2014, and I took a selfie with Craig Lamere.  I met him at Shutterfest 2015.  I also attended a photo session with Lindsay Adler.  I was blessed to meet Ana Brandt, and talk to her as well.

I had some challenges with my hotel and the cold weather, but those issues were all forgotten after my awesome encounters.  If that weren't enough, I assisted a fellow photographer in a photo shoot on Sunday night in Atlanta.  Yes, I had a great weekend.  Not only did I create memories, capture images, and developed a plan for my photography, I also managed to get sick.
