Week 48 - Old Hollywood

December 14, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Over the weekend, I participated in a thrift store challenge.  Teams consisting of a photographer, model, and HMUA were given 30 minutes to shop for attire and accessories in a thrift store to be used in a photo shoot held that same evening.  We could only spend $20.00.  My model was late arriving so I had to shop without her.  I had an idea in mind, and shopped with that theme in mind.  I found a dress that fit my model perfectly.

We weren't able to use the strobes to shoot, and the session took longer than anticipated so my model had to leave.  With these constraints, we shot were we could in the studio.  I'm a little upset that I didn't bring my ice light it would have been perfect to use in this situation.  Here's one of my favorite images from that evening.

Model: Destiny Mallet

HMUA: Moni Monique Barret

Stylist: Myself
